◾️賞および選手選考基準
本大会では、参加者を Openクラス とU1800(レーテインング1800未満）の Aクラスに分ける。各クラスの上位3名には賞金が授与され、順位はタイブレークを用いて決定する。

※AクラスのプレイヤーがOpenクラスで入賞した場合、Aクラスの賞金対象にはならない。

※全日本チェス選手権のシード権：既にシード権を獲得している選手を除き、8名につき1名（端数切り上げ）を上位から選出する。シード権取得済の選手も計算時の参加者数に含まれる。付与されたシード権について、辞退者が発生した場合でも繰り下げは行わない。
◾️要項の詳細
- タイブレーク：
(1) Buchholz Cut-1（最低得点の対戦相手を除く全ての対戦相手のポイント合計）
(2) Buchholz （全対戦相手のポイント合計）
(3) Sonneborn-Berger （勝った相手のポイントとドローだった相手の半分のポイントの合計）
(4) Sum of the ratings of the opponents （対戦相手のレーティングの合計）
(5) くじ - デフォルトタイム：試合開始後15分以上遅刻したプレーヤーはその試合結果を不戦敗とする。レーティングの変動はない。
- 事前Bye: 最後の2ラウンドを除いて0.5ポイントとする。Byeが2ラウンド以上あるプレーヤーは入賞、全日本選手権シード権を取得できない。大会開始後の申請は運営側、アービターの判断により受け付ける。強制Byeは１ポイントとする。Byeの申請は3/27 (木) 18:00までメールにて（tachikawa.chess@shinran.info）受け付ける。
- 棋譜は最後まで記入すること。試合が終わったら両プレーヤーは結果を確認し、お互いの棋譜用紙にサインし合い、アービターに結果を報告する。サインの前に必ず結果を確認すること。
- 携帯電話等の電子機器は電源を切ってカバンにしまうなど、試合中身につけてはいけない。携帯電話などが入ったカバンの持ち出しも禁止する。このルールに違反したプレーヤーは不戦敗ではなく、負けとなる。電源が切れていてもポケットに入っていた、など所持していた場合も含む。許可された見学者、及びすでに試合を終えたプレーヤーに対しても会場内での携帯電話などの使用を禁止する。
- 試合開始から10分間、許可された見学者に携帯電話でのカメラ撮影を許可する。それ以降は、見学者も会場内での携帯電話使用を禁止する。ただし、特別な許可を受けた場合は別とする。
- クロック、チェスセット、棋譜用紙は主催者で用意したものを使用すること。
- 許可がない見学者は会場内の立ち入りを禁止する。小学生以下の参加者については1名まで保護者の見学を可能とするが、3/27 (木) 18:00までに必ず立川チェスクラブ宛（tachikawa.chess@shinran.info）にメールで連絡し許可を得ること。
- その他上記以外のことはFIDEルールに沿って判断する。例えばイリーガル・ムーブは違反行為であり、2回目は負けとなる。時計の押し間違い、両手使用等も違反行為である。スタート順位を決める基準の優先順位は、国内 rating、氏名ABC順とする。
- 主催者は1ラウンド開始前に上記のルールを適切な理由で変更する場合がある。
- 会場で撮影した写真を立川チェスクラブ、日本チェス連盟公式サイト、チェス連盟会誌等に使用することがある。
- 会場の関係で、やむを得ず持ち時間の変更、及び大会開催中止などの場合がある。
- 大会への参加をキャンセルする場合は、tachikawa.chess@shinran.info宛にメール連絡すること。
- 申込期間締切8日前までかつ定員に達していない場合は、返金する。
- 申込期間締切7日前以降または定員に達している場合は、いかなる理由であっても返金しない。
- 個人間で起きたトラブルに関して、立川チェスクラブは一切の責任を負いかねる。
- ペアリング、結果はchess-results.comに掲載する。

Event Details:
- Dates: Saturday, March 29, 2025 – Sunday, March 30, 2025
- Location: Tsukiji MK Building 4F, 2-11-26 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
- Format: 6 rounds, Swiss system, 45 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move, Japan Chess Federation official national rated tournament.
Registration:
- Entry Fee (Peatix): 8,500 yen, U22: 6,000 yen. GM/IM/WGM/WIM – Free
U22 refers to players who have not reached their 22nd birthday by January 1, 2025 (born in 2003 or later) - Eligibility: Must be a Japan Chess Federation annual member

Prizes and Player Selection Criteria:
Class Division:
Participants will be divided into two classes: Open Class and A Class (rating under 1800).
Prizes: The top 3 players in each class will receive prize money. Rankings will be determined by tie-breaks.
Open Class:
- 1st place: 20,000 yen
- 2nd place: 15,000 yen
- 3rd place: 10,000 yen
A Class:
- 1st place: 8,000 yen
- 2nd place: 6,000 yen
- 3rd place: 4,000 yen
Note: Players in A Class who win prizes in the Open Class will not be eligible for A Class prizes.
Tie-breaks:
- Buchholz Cut-1 (total points of all opponents except the one with the lowest score)
- Buchholz (total points of all opponents)
- Sonneborn-Berger (sum of points of defeated opponents + half the points of drawn opponents)
- Sum of ratings of opponents
- Lottery
Japan Chess Championship Seed Qualification:
- 1 seed for every 8 participants (rounded up), excluding players who have already qualified.
- Players who have already qualified are included in the participant count for seed calculation.
- Seed slots will not be reassigned if a qualified player declines.
Tournament Rules and Regulations:
Default Time: Players who are more than 15 minutes late after the start of a round will forfeit the game. No rating change will occur.
Pre-arranged Bye: 0.5 points, except for the last two rounds. Players with more than one bye are not eligible for prizes or Japan Chess Championship seed qualification. Requests for byes after the tournament starts will be accepted at the discretion of the organizers and arbiters. Forced byes are worth 1 point. Bye requests must be submitted by email to Tachikawa Chess Club (tachikawa.chess@shinran.info) by March 27 (Thursday) 6:00 PM.
Notation: Players must record the entire game. After the game, both players must confirm the result, sign each other’s score sheets, and report the result to the arbiter. Always confirm the result before signing.
Electronic Devices: Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be turned off and stored in a bag during games. Carrying such devices is prohibited. Carrying bags containing such devices is also prohibited. Players violating this rule will lose the game, not by default. This includes having devices in pockets, even if turned off. Spectators and players who have finished their games are also prohibited from using mobile phones in the venue.
Photography: Permitted spectators may use mobile phone cameras for 10 minutes from the start of each round. After that, mobile phone use is prohibited in the venue, except for those with special permission.
Equipment: Clocks, chess sets, and score sheets will be provided by the organizers.
Spectators: Unauthorized spectators are not allowed in the venue. Only ONE parent of elementary school children or younger may observe with prior permission by email to Tachikawa Chess Club (tachikawa.chess@shinran.info) by March 27 (Thursday) 6:00 PM.
FIDE Rules: Anything not specified above will be handled in accordance with FIDE rules. For instance, illegal moves are a violation, with the second offense resulting in a loss. Incorrect clock operation and using both hands are also violations.
Starting Rank: Determined by domestic rating, then alphabetical order of full name.
Rule Changes: The organizers reserve the right to change the above rules before the start of Round 1 for appropriate reasons.
Photo Usage: Photos taken at the venue may be used by Tachikawa Chess Club, the Japan Chess Federation website, and the Chess Federation magazine.
Event Changes: The organizers may change the time control or cancel the event due to venue circumstances.
Cancellations:
- To cancel participation, please contact Tachikawa Chess Club (tachikawa.chess@shinran.info).
- Refunds will be issued for cancellations made before 8 days prior to the registration deadline and if the event has not reached capacity.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 7 days prior to the deadline or after the event reaches capacity, regardless of the reason.
Liability: Tachikawa Chess Club is not responsible for any issues arising between individuals.
